When it comes to maximizing space, Jenny is a total pro. "Although New York living can feel small and boxy, there are ways to embrace and curate beautiful little moments throughout the floor plan," she says. She utilized the open concept floor plan to create a room that feels welcoming and spacious despite its square footage. "Choose your chairs wisely. I think the four chairs worked nicely in the space because they are completely different silhouettes," Jenny explains.
"Pair a classic club chair that has soft, curved lines with another two that have a more modern, strong feel to them," she adds. And, pro tip: Save space by avoiding a media console. In her apartment, Jenny mounted the television on the wall and used bookshelves for additional storage.
Jenny's main goal was to create a space that was beautiful but also approachable. "We're big entertainers and love watching movies and playing the piano. It's nice that the space easily lends itself to either of those two things being the focus of the evening," she says. Besides it's stunning color story and mix of furniture styles, the best part of Jenny's new home is the reaction she's getting from friends. "The number one compliment we keep receiving from guests, which is my favorite part about the new space, is how cozy it is," she says.
