While we knew season three of Fixer Upper wouldn't last forever, we're currently experiencing a Chip and Joanna-sized hole in our HGTV-loving hearts. Luckily, it seems like we won't have to wait long before the Gaineses return to our TV screens.

"This season seemed to fly by so fast," wrote Joanna on her blog. "We are currently renovating houses for season four which will air this fall so stay tuned for some more amazing clients and homes we can't wait to share with you!"

But to hold you over until then, Joanna shared her favorite fixer uppers from season three, leading up to the finale on Instagram. Take a stroll down memory lane with these beautiful renovations:

1 The School House

2 Paw Paw's House

Chip and Joanna had someone else show them around a fixer upper for a change! The Zan's asked for help restoring their paw paw's home, which he built himself, but had sat abandoned for years after his passing.

3 The Shotgun House

After learning that this shotgun house was snatched up before they made an offer, the Bell family was in for an unexpected twist: The owner, a developer who was only interested in the land, gave them the house for free under the condition that they moved it to a whole new lot—a first for Chip and Joanna. The house was also one of the smallest the Gaines ever renovated, which called for creative space saving solutions.

In this episode, the Gaineses worked with clients they already knew pretty well: Rachel Whyte is one of the photographers for Fixer Upper. While this dated home didn't match their casual style at first, they knew to trust Joanna's impeccable design.

David Ridley was a unique client for the Gaines, who nicknamed him "Waco's Most Eligible Bachelor." His masculine style required Chip to help with the design—he even planned a basketball court to surprise Joanna.
