Drew Barrymore's former sprawling estate in the Santa Barbara mountains has hit the market once again for a whopping $9.995 million. The actress purchased the home back in June 2010 f0r $5.705 million and sold it in May 2013 for $6.35 million. It has quite the history, beyond Barrymore owning it twice: Back in 2012, the actress actually wed her (now) ex-husband Will Kopelman in the backyard of the Montecito home.
The 6,6640-square-foot property has six bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and two half bathrooms, and sits on two acres of land that have stunning views of the Santa Ynez Mountains. The backyard features a grove of both citrus and avocado trees, and has a private playground. The home reportedly underwent an extensive renovation back in 2016, turning it into the mountain getaway you see today.
Built back in 1937, the traditional-style estate features classic architecture that's only been elevated due to its entirely new design. The ground-floor master suite has a lavish marbled spa-like bathroom, as well as an enormous mirrored dressing room. A detached guest house works perfectly for any visitors, and a six car garage is available on the property that'll please any car aficionado who gets to call this place home.
The kitchen might have gone through the most drastic transformation—when Barrymore was the owner, the kitchen was a bright cheery yellow with two eclectic-toned refrigerators. Now, the home has a more modern farmhouse feel, with black and white checkered floors and clean white walls.
