The Wall Street Journal that the current owner, developer Gala Asher, "bought the property for $22 million in 2016. Gala, whose wife Ginger Glass is the listing agent, has since upgraded it with "the latest in technology, home automation, lighting, audio, and video, with magnificently refined rooms and luxuriously designed outdoor spaces," press materials note.

Asher previously sold a spec house to Detroit Pistons owner and Platinum Equities CEO Tom Gores for $100 million.
