Emily Henderson's Halloween Decorating Hack Is Ingenious

Halloween is less than two weeks away, so if you haven't started decking your house out yet, PSA: It's time. If you have literally no idea what to do and just can't with hitting the Halloween section at whatever store is closest to you, Emily Henderson found the laziest way to decorate for Halloween and still have it look incredibly chic. And I'm here for it.

Normally, giant spiderwebs are offputting, but these "'haunted' with a heavy dose of 'happy'" (as she calls it) webs are just spooky enough to be Halloween-worthy, but not so disgusting that you want to avoid your living room altogether. And they're super easy and cheap, so it's an overall win.

These webs' supersized scale makes them the immediate focal point of the room, making them a quick way to signal "This is Halloween" without spending a whole weekend turning your home into Haunted Miescisko. She hung them up with Command Strips (they're there for you every single time), and then—the key part of all of this—opted for "friendlier" spiders. Seriously, guys, not sure if you've noticed, but they're are some creepy a** spiders out there in the Halloween world. Keep it cute.

Not only did the HGTV star put them up on her windows, but she also hung the stretchable webs over artwork (so it looks like an old, haunted, crumbling English castle) and used them to cover furniture. One motif, many iterations—and all of them work.
