"Throw pillows make a big difference and don't have to cost a fortune. I search Etsy for the names of fabrics I like, then go to the vendors' sites to source pillows made from those fabrics. This one is in Kelly Wearstler's Bengal Bazaar."
"Oly's George—the rough finish on the metal legs is great against the smooth, glossy top."
"Cisco Brothers' Rowan. Wingback headboards feel so comforting, like you're getting a hug while you sleep."
"Vaughan Designs' Hardwick. I'm having a love affair with brass, and it's so sculptural."

For a San Francisco dining room, "everything came together around the vintage N.O. Møller chairs," Nelson says. She designed the mahogany table to accompany them and chose the rug for the way its organic pattern echoed the chairs' curved backs. The wave artwork adds another playful shape to the mix.
