Things are moving quickly for Prince Harry and his now-fiancé Meghan Markle. After meeting last July, the pair announced their engagement on Monday, their wedding date on Tuesday, and now here we are, on Friday, and the couple are carrying out their first royal duties together.
Harry and Meghan's first official outing today is in Nottingham, where they're visiting a few different places. As Kensington Palace revealed via their Twitter account earlier this week, first they headed to a Terrence Higgins Trust charity fair, and later today they'll be off to the Nottingham Academy to find out more about the Full Effect program which aims to prevent young people from committing violent crimes.
Mirroring each other's outfits (already!) both Meghan and Harry wore long dark coats (being LA born and bred, she's going to have to get used to this freezing weather). Underneath, Meghan had on a long flowing champagne skirt and black polo neck, teamed with black boots.
Continuing their public displays of affection, the couple arrived at Nottingham train station walking arm in arm. Ah, love's young dream.
And the crowds are loving it.
Kensington Palace's statement said Prince Harry had been "looking forward to introducing Ms. Markle to a community that has become very special to him," and by the looks of it, he's going to enjoy doing these royal visits a lot more now he can have his wife-to-be by his side.
