During their visit to Edinburgh Castle on February 13, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry took the time to greet and talk with onlookers who had waited to meet the royal couple as they continue their pre-wedding tour. And one sweet moment in particular is going viral.
At one point, the couple was separated as they each took the time to meet with as many as people as they possibly could before entering the Scottish castle. In a special moment with Markle, a couple from the Philippines was excited to meet her and announced that it was their anniversary.
Markle congratulated the couple as she continued to walk down to greet others but said the Filipino phrase "salamat po," meaning "thank you" in Tagalog, before moving onto the next group of people. The woman then started to cry and mentioned that Markle was "so sweet," after the exchange.
The royal couple was in Edinburgh just last week where they also visited Social Bite, a Scottish organization helping to end homelessness, and the Palace of Holyroodhouse, which was hosting a reception for Scottish Year of Young People. Visitors who came to see the couple handed the couple gifts like roses as they passed by.
The visit to Edinburgh was the couple's fourth public appearance together, according to . The couple has since returned to London and, , were recently seen enjoying a date night while watching the West End production of Hamilton.
