Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond has a lot on her plate, like opening her hotel in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, The Boarding House, and releasing a new dinnerware collection with Walmart earlier this year. Now, the award-winning chef is embarking on another tastier venture.
As MSN reports, Drummond announced on Instagram that she plans to open a new pizza restaurant next week in Pawhuska.
"P-Town Pizza. I think we're gonna open next week if we can push ourselves over the finish line," she wrote. "In other news, this might not have been the best time to take a break from carbs ..."
The new restaurant is just another project for Drummond and her husband of 21 years, Ladd, who she affectionately refers to as The Marlboro Man. In 2016, the two opened The Mercantile, a restaurant and retail store in Pawhuska, to rave reviews. According to People, The Mercantile was so successful that Pawhuska, a small town of 3,500 residents, immediately saw growth in tourism numbers — up to 6,000 visitors a day.
However, the couple isn't slowing down at all, as the Food Network star has also revealed that she'll be opening a reservations-only restaurant called P.W. Steakhouse and Saloon. Sounds delicious.
