There's nothing quite like shopping from the comfort of your own home while sitting on your couch. Even so, there's value to actually knowing how fluffy (or not fluffy) the pillows you're considering ordering are going to be. With that in mind, e-commerce retailer Wayfair just opened two pop-up locations.
The shops—one located in New Jersey and the other in Massachusetts—look a lot like houses and each "room" represents different items the furnishings site has to offer. In the 400-square-foot space you'll find a home-improvement "How To" station, featuring everything you might need for a renovation project, and over 100 fabric swatches that can help you custom-design your room.
Should you miss Wayfair's website during your IRL experience, the store has stations for shoppers to browse the website and place orders with next-day or two-day delivery. And, if you find it all a bit overwhelming, there are even design experts on hand and ready to help.
You can visit the Paramus, New Jersey, shop in the Westfield Garden State Plaza or the Natick, Massachusetts, shop in the Natick Mall. The shops are open now and until January 2, 2019.
