In the season four finale, our favorite fixer uppers Chip and Joanna Gaines took on one of their craziest challenges yet: a dilapidated $12,500 shack. The Gaines fixed it up for one of their producers, Michael Matsumoto, and Michael is now making the house available for rent on , according to his Instagram.
He posted the listing in November. "If you are traveling to #Waco in the next few months we have decided to rent out our house for a limited time," he said. "(No we are not leaving Waco) We love it here! Come visit."
The listing highlights the home's "beautiful open concept kitchen with plenty of cooking essentials, 2 full baths with a rain shower in the master, original bunk beds seen on TV, huge yard great for kids complete with play structure, basketball court and a small gym." Located in the small town of Crawford, about 30 minutes away from Waco, the spot would be the perfect home base for your 2019 pilgrimage Magnolia Market.
Michael told his family is in the process of moving a little closer to Waco. "It was hard to make the decision to put our house on Airbnb, but two things help us with that decision," he says. "Work may get busy so I wanted to be closer to the office. And truthfully our house is such a special gift and so many fans have told us that it's their favorite, it'll be nice to let them get to experience the magic of it."
