If you've always wanted an Airstream trailer but just wished the recreational vehicle was a little bit smaller, cuter and easier to haul around, then you're in luck: The company has introduced the new Airstream Basecamp, a slimmer, lightweight version of its iconic silver bullet trailer.
The Basecamp weighs 2,585 pounds and measures 16 feet long by 7 feet wide, meaning it can easily be towed by a mid-size SUV. But even with its diminutive size, it can still seat five people and sleep two, and it also features a bathroom with a toilet and shower, a kitchen with a sink, fridge and cooktop, a convertible rear space that can be used as a bed or a dining nook and tents that attach to the roof to create enclosed outdoor "patio" areas.
According to Curbed, the base model begins at $34,900, and inventory is expected to arrive in October (dealers are currently taking orders).
