Jenni Pulos: For my wedding I chose navy and white. I think they are classic, elegant, and timeless colors!
Have any tips for decorating with black and white?
I adore black and white. There is nothing like a kitchen with white cabinets and very dark, almost black hardwood floors. I also love black-and-white photographs, they can work in any room. Finally, I am a fan of black-and-white patterned bedding — I just got a black-and-white damask patterned beanbag chair that is beautiful. To sum it up, black and white rocks the house!
If you could star in a famous black-and-white movie, which one would it be and why?
The new black-and-white movie I would love to appear in would be The Artist so I could have screen time with Uggie, whom I have already hung out with (we flew on the same plane from New York to Los Angeles...what a gentleman!). The classic black-and-white movie I would be in is Casablanca with Ingrid Bergman and Humphrey Bogart. Why? I love a classic, timeless masterpiece.
You're going to be a mom! Can you share what the baby's nursery design is going to look like?
The nursery is designed...in my mind as of now. We are not finding out before if it is a boy or girl, so I plan to incorporate white furniture with maybe a light gray paint from Jeff Lewis Color. His new line is beautiful! I would also love to use wallpaper and incorporate color in different ways through art, a rug, pillows, and throws.
What can readers expect from you on the chair hunt? We heard there might be a rap…
I am thrilled to be a part of Miescisko's incredible chair hunt. What an exciting event. Except the unexpected, including a chair rap with funky beats!
What upcoming projects are you working on?
I have a children's rap album, Old School Kids Beats, dropping April 1st, a book with St. Martin's Press about failing my way forward, coming out next winter, and a telenovela, Mia Mundo, airing its second season on Telemundo and Mundos this May.
