We all treasure a long soak in the bath after a hard day's work, and no one appreciates it as much as Oprah Winfrey – in fact, bathing is her ‘greatest hobby'.
Oprah, one of the most powerful women in the world, stopped by on James Corden's The Late Late Show for a chat with her A Wrinkle in Time co-stars Reese Witherspoon and Mindy Kaling.
After Oprah spoke of her love for bath salts and bath oil, James wondered just how big her bath really was. He spoke of imagining Oprah in a grand 'roman bath', which brought laughter from the studio audience.
But then Oprah revealed all about her custom-made bathroom design.
'I do have a hand-carved tub,' the media mogul revealed, explaining that it's been chiselled out of marble and onyx. 'It was carved to the shape of my body.'
Cue everyone in utter amazement.
As for James (and us) that's all the inspiration we need. 'That’s the dream,' he remarked. 'That’s all I’m really living for, that’s all I’m ever working for from this point onwards.'
'I told you — bathing is my hobby, I take it seriously,' Oprah continued. 'First, they do a model, they create a cast model. You lie inside it...'
In fact, in an interview with , Oprah revealed: 'I major in bathtubs. I spend my time looking for the best possible bathtub a woman can buy.
'It came from the fact that I was raised with my father in, like, an 1,100-square-foot house where we all shared the same tub. And when I would go back home, after having been in hotels and seeing that there are nicer tubs in the world, and there’s that little tub with a ring around it, where Comet could no longer clean the ring around the tub — and it was my job to clean it — because it has been permatised, I vowed if I ever got my own place, I was going to get myself a good tub!'
