Normally ais pretty self-explanatory – it holds and transports your belongings when you travel. But in some instances, a suitcase can offer so much more…
A new luggage set from Italian designer, Marc Sadler, includes three wheelie suitcases that open up to reveal some unexpected contents – a cooker, bed and office.
Perfect for those of us who love camping and spontaneous, it means you can effectively take all your home essentials with you wherever you travel.
The trio of extraordinary hard-shelled suitcases were designed for Italian luggage brand, (FPM), but you may need to start saving some pennies to be able to afford them.
All three combined – the cookstation, bedstation and workstation – will cost you £16,000. Individually, they range from £4,000 to £6,000 each.
A spokesperson from Milan-based Sadler's design studio told the cookstation is anticipated to sell for €6,500 (£5,693). It’s not yet available to buy, but will offer a cooker, fridge, chopping table and drawers.
However, the workstation is already on sale on FPM for €4,900 (£4,293). You can do a spot of work on the go, making use of the desk, foldable chair and storage compartments. The high-tech suitcase even has plug sockets for all your charging needs.
Feeling sleepy? The bedstation comes at a price of €6,900 (£6,045) and includes a wooden mattress frame and a comfortable topper cover.
Aluminium, wood and leather are the high-quality materials used for all three cases.
