TK Maxx is offering customers a very special Christmas present this year – if you find a never-ending stocking in store or online you will receive gifts for an entire year.
As revealed in the retailer’s new Christmas advert titled The Neverending Stocking, a knitted red and white stocking – found nestled amongst some cushions in store – shares gifts with a lucky family throughout an entire year.
The stocking springs to life, treating the family to a selection of presents throughout all seasons, from handbags and headphones, to sunglasses and shower loofahs. All good things must come to an end though, and it disappears up the living room chimney on the stroke of midnight the following year.
Lively salsa song 'Cuban Pete' provides the soundtrack, with the voiceover by actor Bill Nighy.
Now shoppers who find a similarly gigantic stocking, which we’re told will be 'cunningly concealed online and in stores across the country’, will receive gifts each and every month for an entire year until next Christmas.
There will be a 'multitude of real-life never-ending stockings' in stores from today, which shoppers will need to 'scour the shelves of their local TK Maxx for'. Whilst the stockings can be found online by entering a prize draw.
It’s quite literally the gift that keeps on giving.
'We love to offer our customers more than they bargained for, and the never-ending stocking seems the perfect festive way to bring that to life,’ said Deborah Dolce, Group Brand & Marketing Director at TK Maxx. 'We can’t wait for lucky shoppers to find these hidden around our stores (and online in UK) so that we can give them surprising gifts all year round.
'This is a suitably bonkers TK Maxx way to add a bit of fun to both Christmas TV viewing and also Christmas present shopping.'

TK Maxx Christmas advert 2017 recap
Last year, TK Maxx offered to spray actual snow on the houses and driveways of lucky customers at Christmas if they found a special two-foot snow globe in store, which was the story of their festive advert. The prize was described as a 'snowy version of a golden ticket'.
Set to a re-recording of Pilot's 1974 classic 'It's Magic', aptly renamed 'It's Christmas', the ad was also voiced by Bill Nighy.
