If you're thinking of moving to another part of the country but you're stuck on where to go, then a new survey may provide you with the perfect guidance.
Property experts, Rightmove, have compiled data to determine the happiest places to live in the UK, based on the answers of 17,000 survey participants.
And the winner is Royal Leamington Spa in Warwickshire, which ranked as the happiest place to live in Britain, BBC News revealed.
Among the top 10 are Leigh-on-Sea in Essex and Richmond upon Thames in London. Several spa towns also made it onto the list which are so called as they are based on mineral spas. They are believed to be good for your health and have curative properties. See the full top 10 below…

2. Leigh-on-Sea, Essex
3. Wirral, Merseyside and Cheshire
4. Harrogate, North Yorkshire
5. Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent
6. King's Lynn, Norfolk
7. Epsom, Surrey
8. Richmond upon Thames, London
9. Poole, Dorset
10. Chichester, West Sussex
Although not in the top ranking, the happiest place to live in Wales is Llandrindod Wells, whereas the happiest place in Scotland is Dumfries, according to the survey.
The survey participants were asked to score how happy they were with where they live, including thoughts about community spirit, safety, earnings, friendliness of locals, amenities and local services.
The winning town Royal Leamington Spa scored highly for friendly neighbours and a strong sense of belonging.
