Kensington Palace has confirmed to that the former actress couldn't single out just one friend for the role.
The palace also told us that all of Markle's bridesmaids will be children. That means, despite speculation that Kate Middleton might be in the role, she definitely won't be one of Markle's bridesmaids.
"She has a very close-knit group of friends, and she did not want to choose one over the other. They have all been actively involved in helping her prepare and will be there with her to celebrate on the day," the spokesperson told us.
Although the palace won't be revealing who will be taking on the roles of page boys and bridesmaids until a week before the big day on May 19, we're keeping everything crossed that Prince George and Princess Charlotte make the cut.
Meanwhile, the Palace also with further details of the couple's wedding day.
Markle's father, Thomas Markle, be walking her down the aisle at St. George's Chapel, while her mother Doria will be accompanying her to the church.
Both parents will be arriving to the UK a week early to spend time with the Queen, Prince Charles and Camilla, and Prince William and Kate Middleton.
The announcement also revealed that Prince Harry will be honoring his mother, the late Princess Diana, at the wedding, as all three of Diana's siblings will be in attendance, and Diana's sister, Lady Jane Fellowes, will give the reading.
The wedding service is expected to take an hour, while Harry and Meghan's carriage procession through Windsor will take under thirty minutes.
